I was contacted on Etsy to paint a school bus for a teacher. The only thing they asked to include was the color chartreuse. I started working on the painting before the custom listing was purchased. Lesson learned, I haven’t heard anything from the person for three weeks, so it is now listed in my shop.
I did have fun with this one, I liked using colors to shade rather than just adding black. I LOVE how the clouds turned out, I’m kind of crazy about clouds, I want to see these from my window right now!.
My two (almost three!!) year old loved watching me paint the bus, he says “cool that mama” and makes me want to paint things for him all the time. Maybe a truck series will be coming soon.
